Testing the Champ
Women’s Champion Layla successfully defended her title at Money in the Bank. However, SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long is throwing another challenge her way, as she must defend her title again this week on SmackDown against Tiffany. Who will prevail?

Team LayCool were having a party backstage with champagne. Michelle said she’s proud of Layla for defending the title at MITB, then they toasted the win. Michelle and Layla exchanged gifts with each other. They got half and half pendants that say “Best Friends” when they’re put together. Just then Smackdown GM Teddy Long walked in and congratulated them on the win. He told them to enjoy it because next week Layla defends her title against Tiffany.

Despite a vicious offense from Michelle McCool, Kelly Kelly took advantage of a distraction from Layla to help defeat Michelle. With the win, Kelly now boasts recent victories over both members of team “Lay-Cool.”

WWE.com: Switching gears a bit, how is your relationship with your WWE Pros, Layla and Michelle?
KAVAL: Oh, it’s definitely unique. Their personalities are so far over the top. Mine is more reserved and laid back, more low-key. It’s definitely one heck of a contrast. Again, they’re just so over the top. Sometimes it’s a bit too much and I have to take a step back. But I think because of the dynamic of how far apart we are personality-wise, their mentoring and them trying to draw a little more out of me is eventually going to ultimately make me better.

I’m actually looking forward to prolonging this to see where it goes because success is all about growth. If you don’t grow, you’re not going to succeed. So I think with this dynamic between the three of us, it presents a good chance for me to succeed and improve on what I already have as a foundation. So I think it’s going to be good in the long run. Well visitors, we are back online! I would first off, like to apologize to you all for not keeping the site up to date as It should have been. I have been very busy offline, therefore haven’t found the time to update layla-el.us! So unfortunately, the site suffered. But have no fear, as that is all in the past. I am currently switching the gallery over to Coppermine, and the site into Wordpress, as we had a lot of problems with the other scripts we used.

As you can probably tell, the site is not fully relaunched; as we have no layout, the gallery has no layout, and the gallery is practically empty. But don’t worry, as everything will be back online by the end of the week, if not sooner. Michelle McCool vs. Layla
Mick read another poem dedicated to Michelle, but it was a Springsteen rip-off. Couple arm-drags by Michelle, then a monkey flip. Layla came back with some forearms, but Michelle took her down with a drop-toe hold. Mick made jokes about wishing Michelle was his science teacher, then named off the two he actually had. He then said some of her students must’ve walked away from the class with their textbook strategically placed. Michelle won with the heel hook submission.
